Meet Ayu
The Founder of The Ayur Hub
Ayu is a holistic wellness practitioner, the heart and founder of The Ayur Hub, a sanctuary rooted in ancient wisdom, mindfulness, somatics, and modern nervous system understanding, including Polyvagal Theory. Born into a lineage of Balinese healers, she grew up immersed in ritual, indigenous philosophy, and the belief that healing begins with presence, compassion, and a deep connection to the body. Her ancestors—her great-grandparents and those before them—were Balinese healers, and she carries this lineage with humility and devotion while following her own authentic path.
Her journey into healing began with yoga, which she discovered as a child. She later returned to the practice during a period of chronic back pain—a turning point that reshaped her understanding of what healing truly is. Yoga became less about doing poses and more about listening to the body, regulating the nervous system, and reconnecting with inner truth. Through this, Ayu learned that every body is unique, shaped by its own history and emotions, and that comparison has no place in healing.
Ayu’s work blends mindfulness, somatic practices, and nervous system regulation with ancient healing traditions such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Balinese philosophy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She integrates these with trauma-informed care, vagal toning, and nervous system–supportive techniques to help individuals cultivate balance, groundedness, and inner resilience.
Her professional toolkit includes:
• Yin Yoga
• Kundalini Yoga
• Ayurveda & Ayurvedic bodywork
• Nervous system rewire practices
• Somatic awareness & embodiment
• Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy
• Trauma-informed techniques
• Sound healing
• Balinese indigenous philosophy & ritual
Ayu’s mission is to guide people in resting, regulating, and remembering their true nature—so they can feel grounded, safe, and deeply connected to themselves. Her approach is gentle, heart-centered, and holistic, supporting individuals to cultivate resilience, self-acceptance, and inner harmony.
Ayu’s path is also deeply influenced by the teachings of the Buddha. These teachings have supported her throughout her life, and she shares them in a way that is accessible, practical, and inclusive—spiritual but not religious. Whether someone believes in religion or not, Ayu guides through what is universal: the body, the breath, and the mind.
🪷Training and Certifications
Ayurveda Nursing & Panchakarma Therapy
Ayu completed a diploma in Ayurveda Nursing and Panchakarma Therapy under the National Skill India Mission. This training focuses on the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, detoxification and rejuvenation therapies, dietary guidelines, herbal remedies, and lifestyle modifications. She gained hands-on experience assisting doctors in clinical settings, supporting patients before, during, and after Panchakarma. This knowledge allows her to restore balance in the body and mind through authentic Ayurvedic practices.
200-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training
This training offered Ayu a deep exploration of ancient Yogic wisdom, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and fascial science. She learned to work with the 12 meridian pathways, release deep fascial tension, and enhance chi flow through long-held postures. The program emphasized self-inquiry, therapeutic sequencing, and mindfulness, laying the foundation for her Yin Yoga teaching. Her classes guide students to slow down, listen inward, and build emotional and physical resilience.
250-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training — KRI Certified
Ayu is certified in 250 hours of Kundalini Yoga through the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). This training integrates ancient Kundalini kriyas, mantra, breathwork, and meditation to awaken inner vitality, regulate the nervous system, and enhance mental clarity. Kundalini Yoga plays a key role in Ayu’s holistic healing approach, supporting energy balance and spiritual grounding.
100-Hour Embodied Feminine Arts Training
Ayu specialized in women’s pelvic and reproductive health through therapeutic modalities such as pelvic care, yoni mapping, and the Arvigo technique. This training integrates neuroscience, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and yoga therapy, offering education on female anatomy, hormonal balance, and embodied self-care. Her work supports women in reconnecting with their bodies, restoring balance, and embracing their natural cycles with wisdom and reverence.
300hr Nervous System Rewire, Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Ayu is certified in 200 hours of nervous system rewire practices, focusing on Polyvagal Theory, the vagus nerve, and vagal toning techniques to support emotional regulation and resilience. Through gentle movement, breathwork, and restorative postures, she helps students reset the nervous system, shift from stress to safety, and cultivate deep inner stability.
Her Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra sessions guide people into profound states of rest, allowing the body and mind to repair—an essential part of trauma healing and holistic well-being.
100-Hour Somatic Trauma Integration Training
This trauma-informed training is rooted in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and contemporary nervous system science. Ayu learned to recognize trauma responses stored in the body and apply gentle somatic tools to support integration rather than retraumatization.
The focus is on creating safety, building capacity, and allowing the body to complete interrupted defensive responses. Through embodied awareness, students are supported to connect with their inner experiences, release held patterns, and cultivate self-trust. This deeply shapes how Ayu holds space for trauma survivors and integrates nervous system rewire into her holistic healing offerings.
Craniosacral Therapy – Level 1
Ayu is certified in Craniosacral Therapy Level 1, a gentle hands-on approach that supports the nervous system, deep relaxation, and the body’s natural capacity for self-healing. This modality works with subtle rhythmic motions of cerebrospinal fluid and cranial bones to release tension patterns, regulate the nervous system, and restore balance. Craniosacral work enriches Ayu’s holistic treatments, especially for stress, trauma, and emotional release.

Our Philosophy
In my journey through yoga, I have come to embrace a philosophy that goes beyond the mat. Yoga is not just about perfecting poses or achieving flexibility; it’s a profound practice of self-acceptance and inner growth. Each time we step onto the mat, we have the opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, to listen to our bodies, and to cultivate compassion for who we are in that moment.
I believe that true strength lies in vulnerability. It’s about allowing ourselves to feel, to explore our limits, and to honor our unique paths. Each body tells a different story, shaped by our experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Rather than comparing ourselves to others, we can celebrate our individual journeys and recognize that there is beauty in diversity.
In yoga, we learn to breathe through discomfort and find stillness in chaos. We discover that flexibility is not only physical but also mental and emotional. As we hold poses and breathe deeply, we tap into a wellspring of resilience and peace within us. This is where true transformation occurs – not just in our bodies, but in our hearts and minds.
Ultimately, my philosophy is about cultivating a sense of belonging – to ourselves, to our bodies, and to each other. I encourage everyone to embrace their unique journey, to find joy in the practice, and to recognize that we are all enough, just as we are.
Let us remember: yoga is a journey of self-discovery, a practice of love, and a celebration of the incredible beings we are. Together, we can create a community that inspires and uplifts, reminding each other that we are whole, complete, and worthy of love.
