Durmangala – Cleansing Negative Energy The ritual begins with Durmangala, an offering designed to dissolve all negative energies within the layers of the body. This step purifies the self, releasing harmful influences and preparing the mind and body for deeper spiritual cleansing. 2. Praschita – Invoking the Divine After clearing negative energies, Praschita is performed to invite the deities and sacred instruments. This allows the divine energy and joy of the gods to enter the body, filling the mind with love, compassion, and grace, setting the tone for spiritual restoration. 3. Pengulapan – Restoring the Soul Pengulapan calls back lost or wandering aspects of the soul to their rightful place within the self. After Durmangala and Praschita, this step ensures that the inner self is whole, aligned, and ready to receive divine energy. 4. Pejati – Offering to Witness the Ceremony Pejati involves placing sacred offerings at the ritual site, allowing the deities present to witness and bless the ceremony. This step honors the divine and strengthens the spiritual alignment throughout the process. 5. Penglukatan with Tirta (Holy Water) and Mantra – Final Purification Participants are sprinkled with Tirta (holy water) while sacred mantras are recited, removing any remaining negative energy. This step harmonizes the body, mind, and soul, serving as the ritual’s final purification. 6. Penglukatan with Kelungah – Planting New Seeds Using Kelungah (young coconut or sacred leaves), this step symbolizes planting new seeds of happiness, love, and peace within the self. It reinforces the purification, nurturing a sense of renewal, positivity, and inner growth. 7.
