A Sacred Space to Learn, Experience & Remember

This 5–day immersion is an invitation to step into three ancient healing traditions — Thai Traditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Healing — in a grounded, embodied, and experiential way.

We are not gathering to become experts.

We are gathering to reconnect.

To remember that healing has always lived in culture, in the body, in food, in touch, in breath, in nature.

Held in the beautiful quiet island of Koh Yao Noi, this journey weaves together practice, education, ritual, and hands-on experience — offering you a deeper understanding of how Eastern traditions view health, balance, and vitality.

This is a space to slow down.

To listen.

To experience healing not as theory — but as lived wisdom.

THREE TRADITIONS — ONE INTEGRATED EXPERIENCE

 THAI CULTURE & BODY WISDOM

Guided by Rose, a local Thai practitioner from Koh Yao Noi who graduated in Thai Herbal Science & Spa Therapy and has worked globally in five-star wellness spaces, training others in Thai massage and herbal daily care.

Rooted in the island traditions of Koh Yao Noi, this day connects us to land, lineage, and embodied care.

• Morning Thai Yoga practice
• Silent walking meditation
• Thai cultural immersion (Batik or Thai cooking class)
• Making traditional herbal compress balls
• Introduction to Thai massage & bodywork

 TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Guided by Lisa Levine

• Morning Qi Gong
• Foundations of TCM
• Understanding Cold & the importance of Blood energy
• Introduction to Moxa, Gua Sha & Cupping

• TCM food principles & healing recipes

With over 30 years of experience in holistic wellness, Lisa integrates Chinese Medicine, Maya abdominal therapy, massage and yoga. Her work is rooted in the belief that the abdomen and womb center hold deep intelligence and vitality.

This day offers insight into the energetic body and how we nourish it.

 AYURVEDA & NERVOUS SYSTEM BALANCE

Guided by Ayu Trisna Dewi

• Morning Hatha Yoga
• Discover Your Dosha
• Dinacharya — Ayurvedic daily rituals
• Introduction to Abhyanga (oil massage)
• Pranayama for nervous system balance
• Yoga Nidra for deep rest
• Ayurvedic food & healing recipes

Ayu is Balinese, born into a lineage of traditional healers. Her work weaves Ayurveda, yoga, nervous system awareness, and ancestral wisdom — supporting deep rest and reconnection.

FAQs

How do I get to the retreat?

Fly into Phuket International Airport (HKT).
From the airport, it’s about a 30-minute drive to the Bang Rong pier where you will take a boat to Koh Yao Noi.

Once you reach the pier, you can choose:
• Longtail boat — approx. 1 hr
• Speedboat — approx. 30–40 mins

If you tend to feel seasick, we recommend taking motion sickness medicine (e.g., from 7-Eleven) about 30 minutes before departure, or using Po Chai Pills/Stomach Curing Pills a common Chinese medicine.

From Koh Yao Noi pier, you can arrange your own transfer to your accommodation.

We recommend contacting Muhammad, a local driver on the island who can safely bring you to your hotel — just message him on WhatsApp +66 7954245

You will receive the boat schedule and ticket information upon registration.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes — comprehensive travel insurance is required to attend this retreat.

Your policy must include:
• Medical coverage
• Trip cancellation or delay
• Emergency evacuation
• Boat travel coverage
• Trekking coverage (if you choose the Mount Ijen optional extension)
• Coverage for light motorbike or bicycle use

Please send us proof of insurance before arrival.

What transportation should I expect on the island?

During your stay, you may use local transport such as:
• Boats (for island hopping)
• Motorbikes
• Bicycles

Make sure your travel insurance covers these activities.

Visa to Thailand ?

Many nationalities do not require a visa for a short stay in Thailand when entering for tourism purposes. This includes citizens of the US, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, South Africa, and many others under Thailand’s visa exemption program (usually up to 60 days, depending on nationality).

All travelers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online at least 72 hours before arrival.
You also need a passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.

Please double-check the latest entry requirements and visa regulations for your country before you travel.

What should I bring?

• Comfortable yoga & movement clothing
• Insect repellent & reef-safe sunscreen
• Journal & water bottle
• Motion sickness medicine (optional, for boat travel)

What is the weather like in August?

August in Koh Yao Noi is part of the rainy season. You can expect:
• Warm temperatures around 30°C / 86°F
• Frequent rainfall (often spread over many days)
• High humidity
• Plenty of lush green scenery

Rain typically comes as showers rather than all-day storms, and there are still many hours of pleasant weather — rain can be refreshing and bring cooler temperatures.

It’s still beautiful for outdoor learning and island activities.
