A Sacred Space to Learn, Experience & Remember
This 5–day immersion is an invitation to step into three ancient healing traditions — Thai Traditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Healing — in a grounded, embodied, and experiential way.
We are not gathering to become experts.
We are gathering to reconnect.
To remember that healing has always lived in culture, in the body, in food, in touch, in breath, in nature.
Held in the beautiful quiet island of Koh Yao Noi, this journey weaves together practice, education, ritual, and hands-on experience — offering you a deeper understanding of how Eastern traditions view health, balance, and vitality.
This is a space to slow down.
To listen.
To experience healing not as theory — but as lived wisdom.

Facilitators
Three women.
Three traditions.
One shared intention — to honor ancient wisdom through embodied experience.
This immersion is guided by practitioners who have devoted their lives to traditional healing systems, cultural preservation, and body-based wisdom. Each facilitator brings not only education and experience, but lived devotion to their path.

Ayu Trisna Dewi
Ayu is Balinese, born into a lineage of traditional healers and raised within the philosophy and daily rituals of Balinese spirituality.
She holds a diploma in Ayurveda with a focus on nursing and Panchakarma therapy, and is an embodied, trauma-informed yoga teacher and holistic practitioner. Her work weaves together Ayurveda, yoga, nervous system awareness, and ancestral wisdom.
With a deep respect for culture and subtle body awareness, Ayu guides spaces that support rest, regulation, and reconnection. Her approach is gentle yet grounded — honoring both ancient knowledge and modern nervous system understanding.
For this immersion, Ayu will guide the Ayurveda Day, Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, and Yoga Nidra.

Lisa Levine
Lisa brings over 30 years of experience in holistic wellness.
Her journey into healing began after recovering from a life-threatening illness in her early twenties — an experience that devoted her life to traditional medicine and body-based practices.
Lisa integrates Chinese Medicine, Maya abdominal therapy, massage, and yoga into her work. She believes deeply in the intelligence of the abdomen and womb center — as a source of vitality, intuition, and healing.
During this immersion, Lisa will guide the Traditional Chinese Medicine Day, sharing foundational principles, energetic concepts, and practical tools such as Moxa, Gua Sha, and Cupping.
Her teaching bridges wisdom and accessibility — allowing complex philosophy to become embodied understanding.

Rose Rassapohn
Rose is a Thai practitioner from the island of Koh Yao Noi.
She graduated in Thai Traditional Science and Spa Therapy and has worked internationally in five-star wellness hotels, training therapists in Thai massage and herbal daily care.
Rooted in local tradition and lived experience, Rose brings authenticity and cultural integrity to the Thai Body Wisdom Day. She will guide herbal compress making, Thai massage foundations, and traditional bodywork practices.
Her presence connects us directly to the land, the culture, and the living tradition of Thai healing.

FAQs
How do I get to the retreat?
Fly into Phuket International Airport (HKT).
From the airport, it’s about a 30-minute drive to the Bang Rong pier where you will take a boat to Koh Yao Noi.
Once you reach the pier, you can choose:
• Longtail boat — approx. 1 hr
• Speedboat — approx. 30–40 mins
If you tend to feel seasick, we recommend taking motion sickness medicine (e.g., from 7-Eleven) about 30 minutes before departure, or using Po Chai Pills/Stomach Curing Pills a common Chinese medicine.
From Koh Yao Noi pier, you can arrange your own transfer to your accommodation.
We recommend contacting Muhammad, a local driver on the island who can safely bring you to your hotel — just message him on WhatsApp +66 7954245
You will receive the boat schedule and ticket information upon registration.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes — comprehensive travel insurance is required to attend this retreat.
Your policy must include:
• Medical coverage
• Trip cancellation or delay
• Emergency evacuation
• Boat travel coverage
• Trekking coverage (if you choose the Mount Ijen optional extension)
• Coverage for light motorbike or bicycle use
Please send us proof of insurance before arrival.
What transportation should I expect on the island?
During your stay, you may use local transport such as:
• Boats (for island hopping)
• Motorbikes
• Bicycles
Make sure your travel insurance covers these activities.
Visa to Thailand ?
Many nationalities do not require a visa for a short stay in Thailand when entering for tourism purposes. This includes citizens of the US, UK, EU, Australia, Canada, South Africa, and many others under Thailand’s visa exemption program (usually up to 60 days, depending on nationality).
All travelers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online at least 72 hours before arrival.
You also need a passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date.
Please double-check the latest entry requirements and visa regulations for your country before you travel.
What should I bring?
• Comfortable yoga & movement clothing
• Insect repellent & reef-safe sunscreen
• Journal & water bottle
• Motion sickness medicine (optional, for boat travel)
What is the weather like in August?
August in Koh Yao Noi is part of the rainy season. You can expect:
• Warm temperatures around 30°C / 86°F
• Frequent rainfall (often spread over many days)
• High humidity
• Plenty of lush green scenery
Rain typically comes as showers rather than all-day storms, and there are still many hours of pleasant weather — rain can be refreshing and bring cooler temperatures.
It’s still beautiful for outdoor learning and island activities.
